Located in the scenic Pine Barrens on eastern Long Island, our stable aims to provide an appreciation
for God's creation in nature as well as a respect and education of the equine.
Teresa, the nationally certified instructor, can offer the more advanced riding student
a solid background in horse care and first aid in the Apprenticeship program offered monthly. She has ridden competitively and
on the drill team at Wilson College where she obtained her degree in Veterinary Medical Technology. With 15
years experience, you can be sure her horses and teaching is, above all, safe.
Our equine "staff" consist of four horses and others who are subcontracted in the
area.
"Vincenzo Remembered" is our 8-yr old bay Quarter Horse who loves trail riding and his teen
co-owner who is an assistant instructor/trail guide. He is a wonderful companion for a monthly half-lease.
"Revelation," our 16-yr old grey registered Quarter Horse, prefers to hang in Vinny's shadow in the
paddock but loves to "strut his stuff " with pride with his riders, especially those he's known a bit. Being
our only rescue, his story of recovery from a severe lameness is incredible. He loves new faces and carrots too! So come
on down to meet him.
Our medium-sized POA (Pony of the Americas breed), "Angel", is from New Jersey and is
our polo pony turned trail pony and jumper. Colorful, and very playful, he is most athletic "horsinality."
Last but never least, (although he is a Miniature Horse by breed!) our newest
arrival this year is "Star." Born in Amish country and raised in Sayville, Star is currently used for
small children's pony parties on a limited basis. Yet his future is bright with potential as he is in training currently
in hand.
